Consistent with Victorian Government policy and legislation, Mind abides by Information Privacy Principles regarding information handling practices. Any information provided, including identification of individuals, will be used only for the purpose intended and where confidentiality is required, information will be retained as such unless otherwise required by law.

Visitor logs that may be kept are used on this site for statistical purposes only. No attempt will be made to identify specific users or their browsing activity. De-identified information from these logs may be used to update and improve the Mind site.

Email addresses provided via this site will only be used, as intended, to respond to specific user queries and will not be added to any mailing lists, nor disclosed to any other party without the users' knowledge and consent, unless otherwise required by law.

From time to time Mind may invite users to provide information via online forms or surveys. Participation in these is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether to disclose requested information (such as name and mailing address) and demographic information (such as postcode or job title).

The Mind website may contain links to other sites. Mind is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such other sites. Mind encourages its users to be aware when they leave its site and to read the privacy statements of each web site they choose to visit.
